144th Street Improvements - South and West Farm Development

About the Project

As part of the 144th Street Improvements and the West Farm and South Farm Development efforts, roadway improvements will be made on 144th Street, Pacific Street, and the off ramps to West Dodge Road.

144th Street will be widened from a 4-lane divided roadway to a 6-lane divided roadway from FNB Parkway/Eldorado Drive south to Pine Street. The 144th and Dodge interchange off ramps will be widened to add dual right turns, and Pacific Street will be reconstructed to allow for dual left turns into both West and South Farm developments.

Additionally, there will be some miscellaneous median work to allow for new entrances along 144th Street and Pacific Street into West Farm and South Farm and new traffic signals will be installed along the corridor.

Project Schedule

Update as of February 23rd, 2018 - Phase 3 will be starting as soon as the weather will permit and will include a full overnight closure of the 144th and Pacific Street intersections in April to construct the new signal. In addition to the roadway improvements some additional utility work will also occur and will result in lane restrictions at the intersection of 144th and Pacific Street.

Access to Millard North High School will be maintained at all times, however; lane restrictions may cause some delays.  Please plan accordingly, use caution and be patient during construction.

In an effort to attempt to complete the project as quickly as possible, early storm sewer work will begin for Phase 5 and 6 as soon as weather and conditions allow.
