168th Street - West Center Road to Pacific Street

About the Project

168th Street between West Center Road and Pacific Street is planned to be reconstructed to a four-lane roadway divided by a median. The existing two-lane and three-lane roadway is currently at capacity and often experiences delays during the peak hours of travel. Improvements include a new roadway with curb and gutter, enclosed storm sewer, sidewalks, retaining walls, noise walls, and traffic signals. The primary benefits of this project include improving safety for all transportation users, enhancing traffic operations, decreasing peak hour congestion, and improving drainage control in the area.

Construction of this project will begin in March 2021. Utility relocation work will begin on January 4, 2021. The public is invited to learn more about planned construction activities at a virtual open house. The meeting will be available online beginning December 21, 2020. Please attend at your convenience.

If you would like meeting materials mailed to you, please contact Jeff Babcock at 402-444-5220 to provide your contact information.
