180th Street Improvements - Arbor Street to Harney Street (OPW 54077)

About the Project

180th Street between Harney and Arbor Streets is planned to be reconstructed to a four-lane roadway, divided by a median. These Improvements will widen the existing two-and three-lane rural roadway sections. In addition to the additional lanes, other improvements include storm sewers, sidewalks and ADA curb ramps, a multi-use sidepath, street lighting, and intersection improvements. This project will improve safety and capacity for transportation users in many modes, including vehicle, pedestrian, and bicyclists.

This project is currently in the preliminary design phase.

The City recently completed its annual planning process to refine the six-year Capital Improvement Program (CIP), which has resulted in a delay to the expected construction schedule for this project to 2029 at the earliest. This project is being completed under the CIP project number 2019T-426.
