Blondo St. Bridge Over Big Papillion Creek Approach Replacement (OPW 54107) (COMPLETED)

About the Project

This project involves the demolition of the existing bridge approaches to the Blondo Street bridge at approximately 116 th Street and replacing them with  new approach slabs. The existing approaches were constructed concurrently with the bridge in 1998 and have experienced significant settlement and deterioration. Several asphalt wedges have been places to accommodate the settlement but have also failed. The new approach slabs should more  smoothly accomplish the grade change between the street and bridge deck.
