In response to the feedback we received from the neighborhood association and vested property owners, the City will be pausing the development of the Elmwood/Underwood roundabout project through the current Capital Improvement Program cycle. We appreciate the participation and feedback we have received, and look forward to the opportunity to further study this corridor for future traffic calming and multi-modal safety improvements.

Elmwood Rd & Underwood Ave Roundabout

The City of Omaha is proposing improvements to the intersection of Elmwood Road and Underwood Avenue. The proposed project will reconstruct the intersection as a roundabout to improve safety and reduce traveling speeds.
