TCSP-28(114) N. Downtown Riverfront Pedestrian Bridge; C.N. 22571

The North Downtown Riverfront Connector Bridge project will span Riverfront Drive and the Union Pacific Railroad, linking the Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge to near 10th and Mike Fahey Streets. This project aims to improve bicycle and pedestrian access between the riverfront and North Downtown Omaha. Currently, the Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge, which connects the trail systems of Omaha and Council Bluffs, is challenging to access from North Downtown destinations like TD Ameritrade Stadium, CHI Health Center, and Creighton University. The new bridge, also known as “Baby Bob,” will complete this connection and promote redevelopment in both areas.
