30th St (Florence) - Traffic Calming
The City of Omaha is moving forward with a Priority Safety Project identified in its Vision Zero Action Plan. The project will focus on an approximate ½ mile segment of 30th Street from Grebe Street to Filmore Street, part of which lies within the City’s High Injury Network.
Planned traffic-calming measures will use quick-build elements to encourage drivers to slow down and increase attention in the Florence area. These changes aim to reduce vehicle speeds and improve safety for all road users.
