Beginning Monday, December 15, 2025, at 9:00 a.m., Military Avenue between North 70th Circle and North 67th Street will be closed for culvert replacement by Hawkins Construction and will be in effect until May 2026.

Cole Creek Military Avenue Culvert Replacement

The scope of this project is to provide a long-term solution for the failing 11' diameter, 100' long 4-ring brick concrete culvert by replacing it with twin 10' x 9' precast concrete box culverts and cast-in-place concrete headwalls and wingwalls designed and constructed to current standards and specifications. Similar to the existing culvert, pipe penetrations from intersecting storm sewer lines are to be accommodated by the proposed structure.
