The City of Omaha is excited to announce the winning names from its snow plow naming contest: Scoop Dogg and Darth Blader. These creative names were selected by Omaha residents in a recent community vote. 

33rd Street and Hamilton Street Intersection

The 33rd Street and Hamilton Street intersection is planned to be reconstructed as a mini-roundabout in order to improve safety and reduce traveling speeds while removing a currently unwarranted traffic signal. The project will include new pavement, sidewalk improvements, ADA curb ramps, raised medians, and storm sewer improvements.
